Inter-Squadron Athletics - held at the Carmarthen Leisure Centre - Sunday 25th April 2010
Overview____________________________________________________________________________________________

The annual athletics championships between squadrons within 3WW were held at Carmarthen Leisure Centre on 25th April this year. 108 cadets from 13 squadrons took part from as far afield as Pencoed, Pembroke Dock and Aberystwyth.

The track events included 100, 200, 400, 800 & 1500 metres. Field events included shot put, javelin, discuss, high jump and long jump. The 4x100m relays finished the day. Teams placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd received gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.

Thanks go to the staff for supporting and helping out and congratulations to the cadets of No 3 Welsh Wing for their sporting and competitive nature.
