Canoe Club, 3 Welsh Wing will be holding its
first ever Canoe Slalom Championships in
Bridgend on the 26th June 2010 |

| The event is open to all cadets, and
comprises of competitions for: |
| Junior Boys aged 13 to under 16 before 1st
January 2010 |
| Junior Girl aged 13 to under 16 before 1st
January 2010 |
| Senior Boys aged 16 from 1st January 2010 to
20th Birthday |
| Senior Girls aged 16 from 1st January 2010
to 20th Birthday |

| There are trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
places in each age group. Staff are
welcome to enter the division 3 or 4
competition, or if graded higher there is an
open event. |

| The event is a Division 4 British Canoe
Union event, which means it is for Canoeists of
all abilities from beginners upwards, and is
designed to be fun and enjoyable for all |
| All equipment will be provided on the day
for anyone who wants to borrow it; e.g. Canoes,
Buoyancy Aids, Spray Decks, Helmets and Paddles.
However you are welcome to bring your own
appropriate canoeing equipment if you have it. |
| Dress will be blues for the day, with
changing facilities and showers being available
as needed. You will need to bring as a
minimum, a swimming costume and towel. |
| Although catering facilities are available
to purchase burgers, hot and cold drinks, it is
recommended that you include a packed lunch with
a flask and soft drink. |
