Fire & Rescue at MOD St Athan_________________________________________________________________________
Cadets from 2117 Squadron
ATC were invited to visit the Fire and Rescue
section at MOD St Athan (RAF). The visit took
place on Monday 9th August and staff
along with ten cadets enjoyed being shown the
fire appliances along with an opportunity to
fight a staged fire under the supervision of
qualified staff.
The visit was arranged by
Sergeant Kevin Gould ATC as part of the
Squadrons training syllabus.
Cadets that attended were Cdt Flt Sgt Williams,
Cdt Cpl Fitzgibbon, Cdt Cpl Humphrey, Cdt
Clarke, Cdt Cornwall, Cdt Young, Cdt Tapner, Cdt
Aston, Cdt Peckham, Cdt Smith. Adult staff were
Sgt Gould ATC, Sgt Lloyd ATC, CI Mr Peckham and
CI Mr Lewis.
