Inter-Wing Field Training Day - 26th September 2010

Inter-Wing Field Training Day 2010_________________________________________________________

Cadets from 215 (City of Swansea) Squadron, 1358 (Pontardawe) Squadron, 2227 (Mid Gwendraeth) Squadron, 1092 (Bridgend) Squadron and 293 (Cowbridge) Squadrons all competed at the various competitions of Drill, Band, Banner Party, Shooting, Aeromodelling and First Aid.

The competition was extremely hard and the Wing’s Cadets performing very well. The highlight of the competition was the 3 Wing Banner Party achieving second place in the Region, which has only ever been achieved by one other 3 Welsh Wing Squadron in the past, that being 1429 (Cardigan and Aberporth) Squadron in 2006.
The Commandant Air Cadet, Air Commodore Barbara Cooper also attended the Inter Wing Field Training Day and addressed the Cadets and Staff at the end of the day.
All Cadets were exemplary in conduct and bearing and were a credit to the Wing.
