Lord Mayors Archery Experience with Tea at The Mansion House________________________

No 3 Welsh Wing has been selected by the The Lord Mayor of The City of Swansea, Cllr Richard Lewis as one of his two charities for 2010/2011. In order to support the Mayor, No 3 Welsh Wing organized a Archery and Tea afternoon at the Mayors official residence, the Mansion House in Swansea on Saturday 25th September. The event was organized by the Wing Charity team and supported by staff and cadets from 334 (Neath) and 1998 (West Cross) squadrons. With the qualified archers supervising the guest's.

This event brought the ATC to the forefront of Swansea business community who attended in strength and also raised around £650 for the charity. The wing charity team are planning other activities to raise funds such as: Halloween Night, Race nights etc.
 

 

 
Lord Mayors Archery Experience with Tea at The Mansion House_________________________________

No 3 Welsh Wing ATC are organising an Archery Experience with Tea to raise funds for the Lord Mayor’s Charity Fund being held at the Mansion House on Saturday 25th September 2010.  Come along and enjoy expert tuition for a fun afternoon for all ages while raising funds for worthwhile causes supporting Penllergaer Splash Appeal, No 3 Welsh Wing ATC with smaller donations to St Dunstan’s, St Joseph’s Cathedral Fund and the Port Eynon Restoration Fund.

Places are limited for this unique event and only cost £15.00 for archers and why not bring along some supporters to enjoy tea in the wonderful surroundings of the Mansion House for just £10.00. Cheques are made payable to ‘Lord Mayor’s Charity Fund’ and please send to the address below.

I hope you, your family and friends are able to join the Lady Mayoress and me on this occasion and come along to see me shoot the first arrow! If however, you are unable to attend, should you wish to show your support to the event by means of a donation or providing a raffle prize, I would be eternally grateful as this would help immensely in the fundraising activities.
