Sir Arthur Marshall Trophy - "Most Improved Squadron" 2010
 
2227 (Mid Gwendraeth) Squadron - Winners 2010________________________________________________________
Number 3 Welsh Wing are delighted to announce that 2227 (Mid Gwendraeth) Squadron have been awarded the Sir Arthur Marshall Trophy for 2010.  This very prestigious award is made to the most improved Squadron throughout the Corps over a three year period.
The Regional Commandant, Group Captain Allen and OC Number 3 Welsh Wing, Wing Commander Wilson are both extremely proud of this achievement, which has brought a magnificent honour to the Squadron, the Wing and the Region.
During 2009, Plt Off Alyn Lewis of 2227 (Mid Gwendraeth) Squadron also won the prestigious Ganderton Sword, for becoming the best Officer Cadet candidate to attend RAF Cranwell for their Initial Officers Course.
Our hearty congratulations go to Flt Lt Liam Brace, his staff, cadets and civilian committee.
