Now that the Wing website has been up and
running for a couple of months and the summer
season is upon us, this might be a good
opportunity to invite Squadron Commanders and
Squadron
Media
Communications Officers
to
forward
items of news, events
and
activities that would be of interest,
and
which could be included on this site. |
Some of the
forthcoming events
that are planned for June include
- Shooting Weekend at RAF St Athan
- Annual Raft Race at Llanelli Dock
- RAF Careers Quiz Night in Swansea
- 3 WW Canoe Slalom Championships in Bridgend
- Summer Camp at RAF St Mawgan
- Nijmegen March Training at RAF Pembrey

If you are (or have) a Squadron MCO, and would
like become more involved in promoting your
Squadron, Number 3 Welsh Wing and the Air Cadet
Organisation, why not attend the June events and
take some pictures? Coupled with a short
write-up, they can be help cultivate good will
and public support for the work we do, raise our
profile, and provides us with excellent
recruitment opportunities. |

With recruitment
currently
being at the forefront of our agenda, and the
team gearing up for what is hoped to be a busy
few
months ahead,
the
opportunity to get involved is open for both
staff and cadets. Heading the recruitment
team is Fg Off Amanda Evans, and there
are
currently
representatives from seven squadrons in total,
those
being 334DF, 621,
1998, 2227, 2318, 2420 and 2426.
