Welsh Wing's Remembrance Day Parades 2010

(Aberystwyth) Squadron__________________
Cadets from No. 561 (Ardwyn, Aberystwyth and
District) Squadron ATC at the grave of Ldg.
Aircraftsman T.E. Evans who died aged 19 years
on 6th. January 1943, in Aberystwyth Cemetery on
Remembrance Day.
After the Remembrance Parade and Service, and
the laying of wreaths afterwards on the Town
Memorial in Aberystwyth each year, cadets of the
Squadron visit the Town Cemetery to lay wreaths
and Poppy Crosses on the Military Graves.

(Port Talbot) Squadron__________________
Along with the other services and general public of Port
Talbot, 499 Squadron Air Training Corps joined in the march
through the town and service of Remembrance at Taibach Park.
The service was conducted by the Squadrons Chaplain and Vicar of
St Theodore's Church, Father Colin Amos
A further Service of Remembrance was held at
St Michaels Church Cwmavon conducted by The
Reverend Helen O'Shea.

(Haverfordwest) Squadron________________
We led the parade in St. Davids with 14th
Signal Regiment (Brawdy) behind along with Lord
Lieutenant of Pembrokeshire and other
dignitaries.
The two minute silence was held at the
cenotaph in the centre of
St. Davids and then the parade marched down the
Cathedral led by the band for the service.
