British Safety Council Award in Workplace Hazard Awareness - 12th August 2010

215 (City of Swansea) Squadron 1429 (Cardigan) Squadron 2227 (Mid-Gwendraeth) Squadron

British Safety Council Entry Level Award in Workplace Hazard Awareness___________________________

Mr Frank Booth has this morning called to congratulate No 3 Welsh Wing as all cadets who participated in the pilot for delivery of training for the above qualification have passed.

Certificates for individual cadets along with a card that may be carried in a wallet are to be presented in due course.  Also staff who were in attendance will be presented with a certificate and each participating Squadron will receive a brushed aluminium plaque.

This is a nationally recognised H&S qualification and all successful candidates should be rightly proud of their achievement.  Mr Donald Gordon Head of H&S will contact us in due course to arrange presentation, as this is the first course and this Wing's success rate is 100% rightly so he feels that there should be some sort of fanfare for the presentation.

The participating Squadrons were 215 (City of Swansea), 1429 (Cardigan) and 2227 (Mid-Gwendraeth)

Wing Commander Wilson also wishes to congratulate all those who attended and passed this award - well done everyone!!
