| Amongst the wide range activities the Air
Training Corps has to offer, young people will
have the opportunity to take part and compete in
seven main sports; football, rugby, hockey,
athletics, swimming, netball and cross country
running. |
| This is the
way it works; |
| Within the
Wing there are
Inter-Squadron competitions. |
| Within the
Region there
are Inter- Wing competitions - Wing Blue |
| Within the
Corps there are
Inter-Region competitions - Region Blue |
| The Air Training Corps then go on to compete
against their Army and Sea Cadet counterparts,
and for this accolade a Corps Blue is awarded. |
| These events are held every year up and down
the country, so there is plenty of opportunity
to take part. |
|
| Mixing work and play is at the heart of the
Air Cadets. Getting stuck into sport is fun, and
you'll build friendships and learn how to use
your strengths to best effect in a team; and it
doesn't stop at the sports mentioned above. |
