It is a great privilege for me to welcome
you to the new 3 Welsh Wing web site and I hope that you
will get to know a little more about us and the Air
Cadet Organisation (ACO) as you travel through the pages
on this site. We are located in South & South West
Wales, in an area that stretches from Cowbridge
in the East to Aberystwyth in the West of the Wing and
encompasses 24 locations, which you will find on this
site. |
| The
motto of our organisation is
'Venture Adventure'
and
this should be made obvious when you discover that our
Air Cadets not only fly but can also take part in
activities from white water rafting to cross country
skiing and a lot more beside. Our Wing motto is
'Ymdrech
Deg I Lwyddo' which translates as 'Fair effort to
succeed'. |
| |
|
|
The
ACO is a unique and diverse training organisation that
offers excellent opportunities to cadets and volunteer
staff to learn and develop an exciting range of both
specialist and general life skills, offering
First Aid,
BTEC, ILM and other qualifications to our cadets and
ILM, First Aid and other equally rewarding training to
our staff. |
|
This
revised website is designed to give both members and non
members an insight into the many training activities
that take place and outline the numerous exciting
activities undertaken across the world, following the
motto Venture Adventure. |
|
This web site will be updated regularly
and I hope that you will visit us again soon to find out
what 3 Welsh Wing has done since your last visit. |
