Over
100 guests and members of 3 Welsh Wing took part
in the 4th annual Wing Dinning In evening at the
Giltar Hotel, Tenby, where the guest of honour
was Air Commodore Ian Stewart (Officer
Commanding Air Cadets). |

Other guests attending included, AVM Brian Lucas
(3WW President), Group Captain Dick Allen
(Regional Commandant), Wg Cdr John Darrant (W&W
Chairman), Wg Cdr Les Keane (OC Merseyside Wing)
and many others |

The 3 Welsh Wing web site, created by Plt Off
Paul Morgan (499 Sqn) was officially switched on
by Air Commodore Stewart and he stated how
impressed he was with the quality of the new
site and how quickly his picture appeared on the
web site after switching it on. The highlight of
the evening was the speech of the Wing
President, AVM Lucas, who captivated his
audience throughout his very funny monologue. |

He was presented a gavel to use in future
ceremonies by Air Commodore Ian Stewart. The
gavel will be known from now on as the Lovering
Gavel and it was made by staff from 1092
(Bridgend) Squadron |
